At Jigsaw Medical, we believe that clinical and first aid training should be fun, interesting and something for you to look forward to.
How many times have you been told you are attending a first aid course, and you thought ‘oh no!’? Well, here at Jigsaw we aim to create the most interesting, interactive and scenario-based Training Courses around!
We provide a range of emergency first aid courses, including defibrillator training, which has been approved by the appropriate bodies; we also provide a full range of bespoke first aid, medical and health & safety courses. Furthermore, our courses have been recognised by The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) under the Grant Code Scheme which ensures that our training is suitable for a range of different industries.
Our clinical training courses are delivered by clinicians, for clinicians and as a company #TeamJigsaw has extensive experience in providing high-quality training and other support to a range of organisations including the Police, Fire Service, private security industry and health professionals. Our experienced instructors, who are all working at the forefront of emergency medicine and clinical care provide a unique understanding of both the clinical requirements of individual personnel and also the tactical and political context in which they will be working. As an Edexcel IHCD approved centre, we are able to deliver the range of First Person on Scene Courses (FPOS).
Our main training centre in Chester, ideally located, contains a number of training suites and offices. It is also home to our casualty simulation makeup department, which is a key aspect in many of our courses. As well as some casualty simulation we will have some mock injuries for you to look at (and deal with!) and provide you with some real life connections.
All of our courses can be taught at your site or in our training suite, we are extremely flexible and are happy to provide ‘in-house’ training courses for our customers on a nationwide and international scale. Our courses are taught by experienced trainers, many of whom are health care professionals such as ambulance clinical staff, nurses and doctors. This means we are able to provide you with some real scenarios and experiences to aid your learning and development. We believe first aid should be informative and fun, therefore, we will provide you with lots of scenarios and minimal powerpoint!
But it’s not just the usual first aid that we offer. We also run Outdoor first aid courses, Blue Light driver training in association with ROSPA, and specialist close protection and hostile environment training through our expert Special Projects team.
