First aid training provides the knowledge and ability to deal with emergency situations; knowing what to do in these critical situations can be the difference between someone living or dying.
Unfortunately emergency situations occur all around us; on the street, in the workplace or at home. When something happens having basic first aid knowledge will help lessen the danger faced by an individual during an incident.
A recent news story in the Northampton Chronicle showed how even the very basic of first aid training can be the difference between life and death. Stevo Scott, a manager at a drop-in Jesus Centre in Northampton, noticed that a woman he was having lunch with started choking. Recalling what he’d learnt on a basic first aid training course he swiftly gave her five hard blows to her back and ultimately saved her life.

Our main training centre in Chester, ideally located for businesses or individuals based in Chester and Crewe, contains a number of training suites and offices. It is also home to our casualty simulation makeup department, which is a key aspect in many of our first aid training courses. As well as some casualty simulation we will have some mock injuries for you to look at (and deal with!) and provide you with some real life connections.
For businesses all of our courses can be taught at your site or in our training suite, we are extremely flexible and are happy to provide ‘in-house’ training courses for our customers on a nationwide and international scale. Our courses are taught by experienced trainers, many of whom are health care professionals such as ambulance clinical staff, nurses and doctors. This means we are able to provide you with some real scenarios and experiences to aid your learning and development. We believe first aid should be informative and fun, therefore we will provide you with lots of scenarios and minimal powerpoint!
Most importantly though our first-aid courses will give the knowledge and confidence to deal with emergency situations and possibly save someone’s life.
