2015 has been a special year for Jigsaw Medical but the final 6 months have been particularly impressive with multi-million-pound investment, life-saving treatment and unprecedented growth.
Since June, Jigsaw Medical have added over 30 brand new fully-kitted ambulances to the already expansive fleet as well as 8 brand new response vehicles that help supplement the ambulances clinically. In order to house the new vehicles, multiple operational offices have been established across the UK, that act as bases for crew members to work from in a whole host of different areas.
As well as operational expansion, Jigsaw medical has always been a keen “Investor in People” and in the previous 6 months, the head office (Jigsaw House) in Tarporley has seen 8 new people successfully join the team with 2 new members set to join the New Year.
2015 has been unprecedented and the company growth compared with 2014 is over 500% at year end.
The last 6 months have also seen 2 new Directors join the company; Julie Mercer joined the team in late summer as Projects and Compliance Director. Julie joined Jigsaw Medical as a vastly experienced Director particularly within Project and Compliance leadership within the NHS. Additionally, Richard McManus was appointed Director of Clinical Services in July (after previously holding the Head of Events position) and brought with him a wealth of medical and event organisation experience.
“It’s been an eventful but ultimately extremely fruitful end to 2015.”
Richard stated: “It’s been an eventful but ultimately extremely fruitful end to 2015. With over 600 clinicians successfully registering and becoming fully compliant in that period. Coupled with over £3 million invested in gold standard equipment and vehicles we have managed to amass in excess of 250,000 hours worked by the Jigsaw team.”
“And in that period, with the expertise, knowledge and equipment that our crews are armed with, as well as other key performance indicators, we have been responsible for 8 ROSCs (Return of Spontaneous Circulation) and the safe delivery of at least 5 babies. Without the incredible investment and team that we have at Jigsaw none of that would have been possible.”
