Busy Weekend for #TeamJigsaw

Here at Jigsaw we are happy to be providing medical cover for the Love New Brighton Parade this Sunday. The Love New Brighton Parade is a new event for New Brighton taking place on Sunday July 12 on the streets across New Brighton! It’s being organised by New Brighton Community Centre and Brightside with the support of local schools, businesses, traders, residents and local artists and also Wirral Council.

It is the very first event of its kind and we are keen to involve as many local groups and individuals as we can! The theme is a little bit of Rio comes to New Brighton and we have Wirral Samba Band and hopefully other local Samba Bands taking part.

Meet #TeamJigsaw

This week see’s us getting to know one of our new Recruitment Consultants, Sian Jeffery. Since starting only 3 weeks ago Sian is responsible for the recruitment of Paramedics, Technicians and ECA’s, and she has already fitted in perfectly in the office.

Let’s see what she said when we asked her 3 random questions in an attempt to get to know her better…

What is your favourite film?

If you were stranded on a desert island what one thing would you want with you?

My GHD straighteners (other brands of straighteners are available). Do they work without electric?

Who is your favourite music artist/band?

Fleet Addition

Exciting news this week as we added another vehicle to our fleet. A brand new Ford Kuga has been added as the on-call manager’s response vehicle, I think you’ll agree she’s a looker! Massive thank you to Zero Signs in Crewe for the fantastic branding.

And in other news…

Inspirational entrepreneur, Laura Green says about starting her own business  “I didn’t want to work in Asda. I wanted to run my own business.”

The young entrepreneur from Runcorn, Cheshire, says that because she has Down’s Syndrome people didn’t think it was even worth talking to her about her future.

She added: “I decided that I wanted to work in fashion. Not for someone else but I wanted to set up my own business selling fashion accessories. So that’s what I did.”
