Any individuals who have access and are expected to use an Automatic External Defibrillator either at work or recreation. If you have, or are considering, making an AED available to your staff or customers, this is an essential course.

  • Objectives:

This course is designed to give the necessary basic life support skills including Resuscitation techniques to your students and to give a working knowledge of, and hands-on skills with, the AED.

  • Certification:

A 1 year Certificate of Competence (Resuscitation Council recommended) will be awarded on successful completion of the course and assessment.

Course Summary

Our automated external defibrillator (AED) training course allows candidates to learn the theory behind defibrillation and the practical element of using an AED during resuscitation. Our AED course can be combined with other, more advanced first aid courses such as emergency use of Oxygen and airway management. We also offer candidates on our First aid at work courses the opportunity to 'bolt-on' AED training to their first aid at work course, for only £50 (+vat) students who undertake this additional training receive an additional 'AED training' certificate.
