  • This is for:

    Existing First Aiders whose First Aid at Work certificate is due for renewal (currently 3 years). This course complies with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

  • Objectives:

    To requalify and update existing First Aiders to HSE standards so that they can continue to render First Aid in the Workplace. The course will enable students to get help & give safe, prompt & effective First Aid to a casualty in the workplace following an injury or illness using materials to hand and HSE approved first aid equipment.

  • Certification:

    A 3 year Certificate of Competence (Health & Safety Executive Approved) will be awarded on successful completion of the course and assessment as well as a regulated QCF certificate.

Course Summary

Our first aid at work refresher training course is designed to 'refresh' existing first aiders and gives candidates the opportunity to learn up-to-date best practices. Our first aid at work refresher course is held every week at our brand-new Jigsaw Academy at Cheshire Oaks on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Our first aid refresher training gives students the chance to update their skills through practical, theoretical and scenario based learning - at Jigsaw we do not do death-by-powerpoint!

    *Please note, we no longer accept the 28-day grace period
    for refresher courses.
