    This course is suitable for those who are exposed to HY or Cyanide or required to transport or handle either substance.

  • Objectives:

    The course aims to equip your first aiders with the skills and underpinning knowledge in dealing with HF or Cyanide emergencies.

  • Certification:

    A 1 year Certificate of Competence will be awarded on successful completion of the course.

Course Summary

The approved code of practice to the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1989 recommended additional training for first aiders who work in high-risk environments where cyanide or hydrofluoric acid are used, stored or transported. These short courses will equip your first aiders to deal with these emergencies. This course can also be added on to your existing first aid course booking for just £50(+vat) per candidate, or delivered as a stand-alone course.
