  • This is for:

    Employees who have been nominated as Emergency First Aiders for their workplace. If your risk assessment has shown that First Aiders are not necessary, then this course will provide the skills and knowledge required for Emergency First Aiders to render necessary First Aid in an emergency situation.

  • Objectives:

    To provide Emergency First Aiders with the knowledge & skills to summon help & give safe, prompt & effective emergency first aid to a casualty in the workplace following an injury or illness using materials to hand and/or HSE approved first aid equipment.

  • Certification:

    A 3 year Certificate of Competence (Health & Safety compliant) will be awarded on successful completion of the course and assessment as well as a regulated QCF certificate.

Course Summary

Our first aid at work training courses are in accordance with guidance provided by the Health & Safety executive (HSE) and are both fun and informative. All of our First Aid courses are QCF accredited and include dynamic and realistic casualty simulation which puts the candidates through their paces. We hold the First Aid at Work course every week at our Training Academy in Cheshire Oaks, these courses are held on a Monday. We are also able to teach this course 'in-house' at our clients preferred site.
