Finally some good weather has decided to cast itself over the British Isles during the festival season, with highs of 20Cs this weekend, and predicted to increase to 30Cs and above next week.
The met office has released a warning and increased parts of England to level 3 heatwave alert, one level below a national emergency. This includes London, South – East, South West and the West Midlands.

Here are some easy tips to survive heat during a festival:
Drink plenty of fluids, especially water
If consuming alcohol, drink water frequently between beverages
Keep out of the sun for long periods
When sunbathing, try not to fall asleep
Wear suitable clothing and headwear
Be aware of others who may need assistance

If someone feels unwell, get them somewhere shaded and cool to rest, providing them with water to drink.
If symptoms persist and breathlessness, confusion, dizziness, weakness and chest pain become worse, seek first aid treatment by the professional medical services within the grounds of the festival.
