Jigsaw Medical is delighted to welcome Paul Jones to the team as Director of Education and Training.
We’re closing in on another incredible year at Jigsaw but after an exciting and successful first 10 months so far, Jigsaw Medical, and in particular the Education and Training Division is happy to announce the appointment of Paul Jones to the team as Director of Education and Training.
This is incredible news for Jigsaw as a whole and Paul’s skills and expertise will facilitate new courses within the training division (for both internal and commercial use) – taking the Training Division to new heights.
Paul has a particularly impressive CV; including as an NHS Paramedic Tutor, Programme Lead for a higher education Paramedic course, as well as authoring a number of publications and sitting on the Research & Development Committee at the College of Paramedics.
With over twenty years in clinical practice ranging from planned care (PTS), to Registered Paramedic status through to training school, and more than a decade delivering and managing in education (NHS, Higher Education and the private sector) Paul brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Jigsaw Medical Services as the Director of Education and Training.
As a registered Paramedic, Paul continues to practise operationally and as an academic, he maintains links to the higher education arena as an External Examiner. Paul also reviews (and writes) for a number of publishers and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Being IHCD trained through the ambulance service and academically educated to Masters Degree level, Paul has an understanding of the different methods of learning and teaching in healthcare and is mindful to ensure that everything that he does ensures that staff or students are enabled to work towards personal and organisational goals.
Paul will join us on a full-time basis, at board level and will be directly responsible for leading, developing and growing our Training Division – at its upcoming new home at Cheshire Oaks.
I am sure you will all join me in welcoming Paul to #TeamJigsaw, at what is a very exciting time for the company.
